About Ride Nepal

RideNepal was formed because we truly believe that Nepal has some of the best mountain biking in the world and we wanted to share it with mountain bikers everywhere – it is just too much fun here to keep it to ourselves!

RideNepal started with the prospect of having Nepal feature in Anthill Films’ groundbreaking new film, called Strength in Numbers. From the initial meetings of keen bikers to work out how we could pull together to do this with Anthill, RideNepal has evolved into an umbrella organization which coordinates the efforts and resources of our members – all of whom are sponsors of the film – to make it possible to film the Anthill way, right here in Nepal.

RideNepal is comprised of members from across the tourism industry in Nepal, including mountain biking companies, mountain bike stores, providers of logistics, transport, accommodation, adventure guiding and equipment etc. Some of our members are simply super keen mountain bikers who work in other fields, yet are donating their time and effort because they love to bike and think this is a cool thing to help happen.

All of our members listed on this site are part of the Nepal team for the Film Strength in Numbers and have pulled together to make the Nepal part of the film happen. What an awesome experience for us all to work with Anthill and of course, the bikers!

About the film

Anthill’s new film, Strength in Numbers, is an action-based documentary that visually explores the question - what is mountain bike culture? As a featured destination in Strength in Numbers, Nepal will be part of a groundbreaking project that will engage millions of mountain bikers and outdoor adventurers worldwide like never before.

Strength in Numbers is not just a film, it will harness the full power of social media and online video. It will break new ground to provide a free online streaming version of the film and reach millions of outdoor adventure enthusiasts all over the world.

All of us at RideNepal are honored to be involved with this amazing crew on this awesome film and to have be able to share some of the secrets of Nepal with the world in this way!

Ride Nepal's Involvement

RideNepal will provide in country management of the on ground part of the project. This includes sponsorship for accommodation, transport, logistics, guiding and the vital local knowledge and contacts required to make filming in Nepal work, given the remote regions we will film in and diverse cultures we will explore.

We thank our members, all of whom are providing sponsorship support from their unique areas of expertise to enable Nepal to be featured in Strength in Numbers.

We believe that the flow-on benefits of such a film featuring Nepal will be felt for many years to come, all the way out to the remote villages of Nepal’s diverse landscape.

We are very excited about this project and thank you for taking the time to check out our website.

Please feel confident about contacting our members to help you with travel plans to Nepal – they are all highly professional and dedicated to the interests of Nepal and are donating their time and efforts to the making of the film because they believe it is good for Nepal and good for bikers! And we will have a lot of fun too!
